Coconut Cake


COCONUT CAKE                                                   Joan T  (1987)

Make 1 day before serving.

1 pkg yellow cake mix

2 cups milk

1 cup sugar

114 oz pkg frozen coconut

Large container Cool Whip

Bake cake in oblong pan

Remove from oven, and punch holes in it before it cools.

Bring the following to a boil:

  2 cups milk

  1 cup sugar

  ½ pkg coconut

 Remove from heat & pour mixture over cake.  Cool.

After cake has completely cooled, cover with remaining coconut & Cool Whip.
