Rhubarb Pie - Sheila


Rhubarb Pie                          Sheila Becker 2010 Alaska


2 TBSP Corn Starch

1 cup Water

1 tsp Vanilla

Combine above then add the following:

4 cups fresh Rhubarb

1 cup Sugar

 
Put mixture in sauce pan and heat until bubbly and clear.

Crust:

1 cup Flour

¾ cup Oatmeal

1 cup Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon

½ cup melted butter


Combine crumb mixture and press ½ of the mixture into bottom of 9” x 13” pan to form crust.

Pour Rhubarb mixture on top of crust.

Put remaining crust mixture on top of Rhubarb.


Bake ½ to ¾ hour
